# Nebula Sort: The Plasma Vial Puzzle That Pays You Back
Nebula Sort is a colour-sorting puzzle in the Nebula Games & Utilities tab. The rules take five seconds to learn and the later levels will still get you.
The rules
You are given a set of vials, each holding layers of coloured plasma. Tap one vial, then another, to pour the top layer across. You can only pour onto an empty vial or onto a matching colour. The level is solved when every vial holds a single element — or is empty.
That is it. No timers pushing you, no lives to lose.
Scoring and the mining boost
Your score rewards efficient solves: the fewer moves you use to clear a level, the higher you score. Clearing more levels in a run raises it further.
Cross a score threshold and you earn a mining boost on your active session. Boosts from different games stack — +5% here and +5% from another game is +10% — up to a +15% daily cap. The boost is granted server-side and shows in the Rate Composition breakdown on the mining screen.
One boost per game per day. After that, play as much as you like; the score simply will not add more.
Strategy that actually works
- Keep at least one vial fully empty as a working space for as long as you can.
- Pour a colour only when you can move the whole stack of it, not one layer at a time.
- Look for a vial that is already almost single-coloured and finish it first.
- If you are two moves from a dead end, restart early rather than burning moves.
Runs on your device
Nebula Sort runs locally in the app — nothing about your play is uploaded except the final score, which the server validates before awarding a boost. No advert interrupts a level.
