Child Safety Standards

1. Scope and Application

These Child Safety Standards apply to all users of Nebula Protocol, including all features of our cloud earning platform, mobile applications, community chat, and any other services we provide. These standards are an integral part of our Terms of Service.

Nebula Protocol is intended for users aged 18 and older. Users under the age of 18 are strictly prohibited from creating accounts or using our Services. We enforce this requirement through our identity verification (KYC) process.

2. Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following content and conduct are strictly prohibited on Nebula Protocol:

• Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Sharing, uploading, distributing, requesting, or possessing any form of child sexual abuse material, including images, videos, text, or any other media depicting the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors.
• Grooming: Any attempt to build a relationship with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation, including but not limited to soliciting personal information, arranging meetings, or engaging in sexually suggestive communication.
• Solicitation: Soliciting, encouraging, or facilitating any form of sexual contact or exploitation involving minors.
• Sextortion: Threatening to expose intimate or sexual images of a minor, or coercing a minor into producing sexual content.
• Trafficking: Any activity that facilitates or promotes the trafficking or commercial sexual exploitation of minors.
• Sexualization of Minors: Any content that sexualizes minors, including fictional or AI-generated content.
• Inappropriate Contact: Any unsolicited or inappropriate contact with a known or suspected minor for sexual purposes.

3. How to Report Violations

Nebula Protocol provides multiple ways for users to report suspected child safety violations:

All reports are treated as confidential and are reviewed with the highest priority. We encourage users to report any suspected violations immediately, even if they are unsure whether the content or behavior constitutes a violation. You do not need to provide personal identification to submit a report.

4. Response Procedures

When Nebula Protocol receives a report of a potential child safety violation, we follow a strict response protocol:

1. Immediate Review: All child safety reports are reviewed within 24 hours of receipt by our dedicated safety team.
2. Content Removal: Any content suspected of violating these standards is immediately removed or made inaccessible pending review.
3. Account Suspension: Accounts associated with violations are immediately suspended pending investigation.
4. Permanent Termination: Confirmed violations result in immediate and permanent account termination with no option for reinstatement.
5. Evidence Preservation: Relevant evidence is preserved and secured for potential law enforcement referral.
6. Law Enforcement Referral: Confirmed or suspected CSAE cases are reported to relevant law enforcement agencies and the appropriate national reporting body.

5. CSAM Detection and Handling

Nebula Protocol is committed to the detection, removal, and reporting of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM):

• Proactive Moderation: Our community chat and user-generated content areas are actively moderated to detect and prevent the sharing of inappropriate material.
• NCMEC Reporting: When CSAM is identified, Nebula Protocol reports it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline, in compliance with U.S. federal law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A).
• International Cooperation: We cooperate with international law enforcement agencies and child protection organizations, including the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) and relevant local authorities.
• Data Retention for Investigations: Relevant data associated with CSAM reports is retained as required by law to assist ongoing investigations.

6. Child Safety Point of Contact

Nebula Protocol has designated a child safety point of contact responsible for overseeing child safety matters on our platform:

This contact is available for child safety reports, inquiries from law enforcement, and communication from child protection organizations.

7. Legal Compliance

Nebula Protocol complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

• Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA): We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
• PROTECT Act (U.S.): We comply with federal reporting requirements for CSAM.
• EU Child Sexual Abuse Directive: We adhere to European Union directives on combating child sexual abuse and exploitation.
• UK Online Safety Act: We comply with UK requirements for platforms with user-generated content regarding child safety.
• Local Jurisdictional Laws: We comply with all applicable local laws regarding child safety in the jurisdictions where we operate.

Nebula Protocol regularly reviews and updates these standards to ensure ongoing compliance with evolving laws and best practices in child safety.

8. User Responsibilities

All users of Nebula Protocol are expected to:

• Comply with these Child Safety Standards at all times
• Report any suspected child safety violations immediately using the reporting mechanisms described above
• Not engage in any conduct that could endanger the safety or well-being of minors
• Cooperate with Nebula Protocol and law enforcement in any child safety investigation
• Verify that they meet the minimum age requirement (18 years) before creating an account

9. Enforcement and Consequences

Violations of these Child Safety Standards will result in one or more of the following actions:

• Immediate Content Removal: Violating content is removed without notice
• Permanent Account Termination: Accounts involved in CSAE are permanently terminated
• Token Forfeiture: All NEB tokens and rewards associated with terminated accounts are forfeited
• Law Enforcement Referral: Cases are referred to appropriate law enforcement agencies
• NCMEC/CyberTipline Report: CSAM is reported to NCMEC as required by law
• IP and Device Blocking: Devices and IP addresses associated with violations may be permanently blocked

10. Updates to These Standards

Nebula Protocol may update these Child Safety Standards at any time. Material changes will be communicated through our platform and by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated standards.
